Ov Hell

Out of Norway's biggest and darkest metal bands rises Ov HELL. This group of Satan’s all-stars has been sharpening their teeth in some of black metal's most influential bands for many years. Known as key figures in bands such as Dimmu Borgir and Gorgoroth, Shagrath and King have come together to bring forward a new chapter in Norwegian black metal history. Ov HELL will carry on in the same tradition for which King and Shagrath are known, but the collaboration between the two will mark a new era for them both. Frost, Ice Dale and Teloch have been recruited for the first full-length release which is entitled “The Underworld Regime”. The album combines the best from two worlds - King's remarkable riffs and the distinguishable voice of Shagrath. The end result is a black metal album that contains all of the power and blast beats worthy of their evil pedigrees. Expect an assault on all false gods and hypocrisy that is of this world today.

Struck By Lightning

Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Struck By Lightning formed in 2009, features Gregory Lahm (previously of Mouth of the Architect) on vocals and guitars, accompanying by Travis Kline, Mike Leach and John Peters. Encompassing the aggression and punk slathering of His Hero Is Gone and Disfear with the progressive rock acrobatics of Mastodon and Big Business, Struck By Lightning create ferocious and hairsplitting aggression that will undoubtedly take the world by storm.

Double Dragon

Double Dragon are a heavy metal band from Adelaide, Australia. Their name is a homage to the 1980's cult video game Double Dragon. Double Dragon's musical style is described as heavy metal, featuring twin guitar harmonies, prominent guitar solos, and clean and screamed vocals.

Like many aussie bands, they don't really hit the shores of america but these boys have played with a very impressive who's who of 'american metal', lamb of god, slayer, megadeth, chimaira, mastodon, black dahlia... the list really goes on. Heres hoping a label picks them up over on this side of the world.

Over the Top

White Wizzard are an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2007. The band has released two EP's and has an upcoming album, Over the Top scheduled for a February/March 2010 release.White Wizzard is notable among many heavy metal bands for drawing influence from older, traditional heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Rush.These influences include melodic guitar riffs combined with aggressive drumming and wailing or singing vocals.

Shadows Between the Sky

Shadows Between the Sky is the twenty-ninth studio album by avant-garde guitarist Buckethead. It was announced on February 5th 2010, and released the next day through TDRSMusic.com. The album features a similar sound to his 2009 release A Real Diamond in the Rough, and it can also be easily compared to with his 2002 album Electric Tears.

Living Corpse

Living Corpse is an Italian death/thrash/ hardcore metal set up on 2000 year. They record the first mini-ep The Redline on August 2005 and fix some gigs of their first official tour. The band also opened the “Hellbound revenge tour 2005”. In June 2009 they start to record their last masterpiece “Metaphysical Collapse”, that will be in stores worldwide for February 2010 with Coroner Records.

Screamworks

The album title was inspired by one of frontman "Ville Valo's relationships that has since ended." He told Kerrang!: "It's a sonic diary of that [affair]. The album's also about both the theoretical and practical aspects of relationships which are an impossible problem to resolve. 'Screamworks' represents a cathartic, primal scream; it's a big middle finger; it's a fuck off, I want to do what I want to do."

Dog Fashion Disco was an experimental band that originated out of Rockville, Maryland, from 1996–2007. Notable for combining many different music styles (70's psychedelic, jazz, piano recital, circus music and vocals, among others) Dog Fashion Disco was primarily considered an avant-garde metal band. The band's lyrical content is often highly esoteric and satirical, with constant tongue-in-cheek references to the occult, drug use, and mutilation. A major influence on the band's sound was the California genre-defying act, Mr. Bungle.
